| Class | — |
| Occupation | Part-time bounty hunter |
| Location | Drar |

Description
Sneid is an older man with the demeanour of someone who has seen too much. He carries himself with the patience of a hunter and the caution of a survivor. Despite his years, he is perceptive and difficult to fool — as demonstrated when he immediately saw through the party’s cinnamon prank by observing the state of the table.
He is capable of turning invisible, suggesting significant magical ability or training. He also showed no hesitation in combat, trading blows with Dristuul before either knew they were on the same side.
The Hunt for The Cradle
Sneid has been tracking The Cradle for years with little success. The organisation is extremely secretive and hard to track.
His pursuit is not merely professional — it is personal. The Cradle killed people close to him, and he is driven by a deep grudge.
He came to Drar hunting Robin, a member of the Black Senate, believing Robin had information about The Cradle. By the time Sneid confronted Robin, Robin had already been captured and tortured by parties unknown. Sneid did not get everything he wanted from Robin before Dristuul killed him.
Key Moments
- Fought Dristuul at the Abandoned Tavern in Drar after both mistook each other for allies of Robin
- Turned invisible during the confrontation, demonstrating magical capability
- Committed Robin’s face to memory before leaving the scene, intending to use it
- Shared wine and conversation with Dristuul at the Ambercup, agreeing to keep the Black Senate secret from the rest of the party
- Helped a very drunk Dristuul lockpick his room door by providing light
- Introduced to the party the next morning; was immediately suspected by Jaruul but welcomed by Korin
- Saw through the cinnamon prank instantly, mixing the cinnamon into his porridge like a seasoned traveller
- Opened up about his reasons for coming to Drar in Session 64, trading questions with Korin as the party set off to find Aldrick Voss
- Peeked into house 17 on Cinder Row, then triggered Aldric Voss’s ambush — a flying sword narrowly missed him and Aldric attacked relentlessly. Insisted they didn’t want to kill him before Korin’s password ended the fight
- Killed Rurik Drenn in the brawl at The Vulnerable Swordsman (Session 66) — three shots, two to the chest and one to the head — and took down or subdued several bandits; tolerated a friendly-fire swing from a raging Kailas
- Schooled Dristuul in intimidation — “Watch and learn, kid” — pressing a gun to the last bandit to make him stand down where Dristuul had failed
- Bonded with Korin over a shared thirst for vengeance — Sneid’s against The Cradle, Korin’s against Laudna Briarwood
- Cast Homunculus Servant in Session 67, creating Ink — a clever mechanical raven he introduced to the party the next morning
- Drafted the fish-jerky trade contract with Ink for the Sand Witch dealer Sulk, and took the mechanicals station for the desert journey east
Relationships
- Dristuul — Met as enemies, became allies after discovering their shared target. Dristuul is Sneid’s point of contact with the party and has asked him not to mention the Black Senate to the others.
- The Cradle — The secretive organisation Sneid has hunted for years. He holds a personal grudge against them.
- Robin — A Black Senate member Sneid was tracking for information about The Cradle. Robin died before Sneid could extract everything he knew.
- Korin — Welcomed Sneid to the party’s table despite Jaruul’s suspicion.
- Jaruul — Immediately suspicious of Sneid, warning the group he may be more enemy than friend.
- Ink — His homunculus, a mechanical raven he created and now travels with.
