The Brass Kettle Inn
A pub in Dravenmere, located in the dwarven city’s underground sprawl. It became the party’s lodging in Session 73.
Overview
The Brass Kettle Inn is one of the many stone establishments scattered through Dravenmere’s underground levels. It is run by bartender Marik Varn and counts the city guard Kegfoot among its regulars.
Key Events
- In Session 73, the party convinced Kegfoot to come here instead of taking his promised “wife” home. A drinking contest between Kailas and Kegfoot ended with Kegfoot passing out — and since he had agreed to foot the bill, the party got 6 rooms for free.
- Nyxara and “Tonderella” (Jaruul in disguise) stayed out drinking for another hour at the inn while the rest of the party retired to their rooms.
- On the morning of the 15th of Unndilar (Session 74), the party woke to find Jaruul transformed — a very thin human with black shoulder-length hair and red eyes — when Korin went to rouse the others. Over breakfast, Korin and Sneid Arkmos spoke with Marik Varn, who offered help, did not recognise the Signet of the Silent Guard, and advised travel to the capital (skyship fares run around 100 gold).
