Role in the Campaign
Kegfoot is a guard at the gates of Dravenmere who the party encountered in Session 73. When Kailas nearly got arrested for looking menacing, he cleverly flipped the situation by offering Kegfoot a wife — Jaruul, disguised as a beautiful elven woman named “Tonderella” (sometimes called “Tondela”).
Kegfoot accepted, and in exchange the party was given special treatment at the gates, allowed to leave the Sand Witch to the guards’ care.
After the party passed through the gate, Jaruul persuaded Kegfoot to pay for everyone’s rooms at the pub, and Korin and Kailas convinced him to come drink with the party instead of taking his “wife” home. He showed them around the city and led them to The Brass Kettle Inn, where a drinking contest broke out between Kegfoot and Kailas to win the lady — Kegfoot lost and passed out, and since he had agreed to pay, the party got their 6 rooms for free.
In Session 74, Korin learned from Marik Varn that Kegfoot is 190 years old.
