Role in the Campaign
Edrin Halvek is a 12-year-old adopted child of a rich family in the higher rings of Dravenmere who was kidnapped by The Cradle. In Session 74, records at the Highwind Registry Customs Office revealed that Edrin Halvek was the missing child the party had heard about — the one from the upper levels, from a wealthy family. The case appeared connected to a missing worker, Peltin.
In Session 77, the party found a note on Peltin’s body (bearing the mysterious symbol) with information identifying Edrin, and discovered the boy chained and jailed at the back of a cavern in the Riverworks. Korin freed him and gave him food and water. Edrin was successfully rescued.
In Session 78, Edrin revealed he had been brought to the cave blindfolded — but not through the elevator. His adopted father, Lord Ordane, rewarded the party with 1,200 gold and a ship ride out of Dravenmere in thanks.
