Dumglod

Also written as Dumeglod or Doomglod.

Dumglod is a fortified city built around a castle, visited by the party early in the campaign. Beneath its imposing walls lay a dark secret: the city’s power was drawn from an imprisoned elemental.

Overview

Dumglod was ruled by figures including Sylva Goldenroar, whose authority led directly to the party’s imprisonment after Dristuul caused offence. The city featured a castle with a prison, a magic item shop, and a network of caves beneath its foundations.

Its current political state is uncertain. After the party removed Nivali, the elemental power source that sustained the city, later reports described Dumglod as falling into severe disarray, with pillaging and refugees fleeing the ruins.
