Summary

Nivali remained imprisoned as the elemental energy source
Kallum’s group was present: Kallum (tiefling), Ronbok (dwarf), Krie (dragonborn), and Neerah (elf, Theros’s acquaintance)
The new group wanted to destroy the crystals — combat began immediately
Ronbok and Neerah transformed into wooden mannequins upon “dying” — clearly not what they seemed
Two guards and a Minotaur entered the room and joined the fight, escalating the chaos
The portal crystals shattered and the remaining crystals stopped emitting light
The entire area changed — everything was engulfed in total darkness
