Description

Silk is a red-skinned tiefling woman distinguished by the gold rings adorning her horns. Confident and disarming, she carries herself with the easy familiarity of someone who has known Dristuul for a long time — strolling up to the party at the Ambercup, helping herself to Dristuul’s flask, and sitting down before anyone could react.

She is a member of the Black Senate, the secretive organisation Dristuul once belonged to. Dristuul had asked after her by name during a Black Senate conversation with Aldur back in Session 56, prompting a knowing smirk — a relationship now confirmed to run deeper than mere acquaintance.

Role in the Campaign

  • Approached the party at the Ambercup in Session 64 to offer information about a request the group had posted in Drar.
  • Initially asked for gold, but settled instead for a private walk with Dristuul.
  • Warned that word of Dristuul’s presence had already reached Lesha, and that Robin’s disappearance had made Lesha more wary of him.
  • Handed Dristuul a piece of paper with an address — which led the party to Aldrick Voss on Cinder Row.
  • Agreed to meet Dristuul again the next day.

The Rooftop Night (Session 67)

  • Found Dristuul at his old rooftop hideaway in the Red Vale, arriving by leaping across the rooftops.
  • Shared a long, intimate conversation: she explained that Lesha could not break the code to spare Dristuul, and that her own roots in Drar run too deep to leave — “Drar is me, and I am Drar.”
  • Revealed she carries heavy responsibilities: “There are a lot of people that depend on me, that I’m not sure would be alive if I wasn’t around.”
  • Warmed to the idea of one day leaving with Dristuul to see the world. Their conversation ended in a kiss.
  • As they parted, she pressed him on Robyn’s fate — sensing his involvement. Dristuul denied it but pointed her toward the Abandoned Tavern where Robin died, and she set off across the rooftops to investigate.

Personality

  • Deeply bound to Drar — she insists she belongs nowhere else, half in pride and half in resignation.
  • Carries unspoken responsibilities; people depend on her survival.
  • Acrobatic and elusive, moving rooftop to rooftop with ease.

Relationships

  • Dristuul — An old friend turned lover. Their rooftop reunion in the Red Vale rekindled real feeling; he vowed to return to her one day. She suspects his hand in Robin’s death.
  • Lesha — A senior Black Senate figure bound by “the code”; could not vouch for Dristuul against her years-long ties to Robin.
  • Robin — A fellow member whose disappearance she is now investigating.
  • Black Senate — Her organisation.
