Session 49 - Cleansing the Church
- Korin healed Theros. Nyxara healed Kailas.
- High Priest Dorn Velmor was freed from Falazure’s influence. He said the prince’s body still lives but his soul is injured — he needs the citadel.
- Decided on a cleansing ritual first. Needed holy water.
- Dristuul produced holy water from “one of his orifices”
- Prince Malrik: two wrist cuts (one healed), bruises. Still connected to Falazure. The cultists had been using royal blood to try to resurrect Falazure — planning to use the prince’s body as a vessel.
- Yllira Quen sold 120 litres of holy water for 1000 gold
- Cleansed the church with holy water guided by Korin’s Divine Sense
- During the ritual: shadowy sprites emerged from the prince’s chest, the temperature dropped sharply
- Korin saw the prince’s soul anchored below. The chalice vibrated, revealed a tattoo on the prince. Part of his soul returned.
- A blinding light appeared, then an ethereal platinum sword above the prince’s body
- Dristuul communed with the Raven Queen. The ritual succeeded. Malrik regained consciousness.
