- Camped as night fell, 1.5 days from the coast. Kailas noticed necromancy magic emanating from Jaruul.
- The necromancy was coming from the rock Jaruul took from the Beholder’s lair in Nicodranas
- Theros identified it as a piece of the Wand of Orcus. It affects the weak-willed.
- Found a broken wagon on the road with a man and woman hiding something
- The woman stabbed Jaruul; both shapeshifted into Bodaks, and the mule transformed into a Shoosuva — servants of Orcus looking for the stone
- Found the corpses of the real people hidden in the wagon
- Camped again and continued toward Jinsan
