Tal’Dorei is a northern continent of Exandria, connected to the broader setting alongside Akothis and Wildemount.
Overview
Tal’Dorei is one of the continents where The Five Rings of Tiamat were hidden after The Calamity. The party has not travelled to Tal’Dorei, but its role as a hiding place for the rings makes it significant to the campaign’s central conflict.
The Five Rings
After Tiamat’s defeat during The Calamity, her soul was split and forged into five rings. These were deliberately scattered across continents to prevent their reunion. Three of the five rings were hidden across Tal’Dorei.
The remaining two were entrusted to the Cobalt Soul and Vokarth Academy.
