Session 12 - Night at the Cemetery
The final side quest brought the party to a haunted graveyard, where the undead were not resting peacefully.
Summary
- Short rest at the tavern before heading out for the night
- Headed toward the church. Had to cross bridges to reach the graveyard. Suspicious.
- Theros cast Invisibility on Korin, who scouted ahead with Divine Sense — detected multiple Undead
- Jaruul “disguised” himself as an Undead and crossed the bridges, continuing forward with questionable confidence
- Jaruul gestured at a window, then made a crude gesture at it
- Jaruul fought a 1v1 with the window and won. Made enormous noise in the process, waking all the spirits. Torches around the area lit up.
- Combat ensued against the restless dead
- Korin used Lightning powers to annihilate numerous Ghosts and Spectres with Jaruul’s help
- Theros completely destroyed a Ghost and several Spectres
- Dristuul won his personal PvP fight against Spectre I — bragging rights secured
- Dristuul entered the church to steal holy water, which was returned minutes later by Hazel, Theros’s familiar (the familiar has more moral fiber than the rogue)
- Returned home to find Brennan destroying his bedroom door. Found this perfectly normal. Went to sleep.
