Frigid Woe
Frigid Woe is a dangerous disease found in the Wildemount region, capable of slowly killing those it infects. The party encountered this affliction when Dristuul contracted it near Palebank Village, prompting an expedition to the ruined laboratory of Salsvault to find a cure. The successful recovery of the cure saved both Dristuul and the villagers of Palebank Village, and a vial of the cure later proved useful as a bargaining tool.

Frigid Woe is a wasting sickness associated with the frozen reaches of Wildemount. It is a slow, debilitating condition that drains the vitality of those afflicted. Without a cure, it is fatal.
The Search for a Cure
When Dristuul contracted Frigid Woe, the party undertook a journey to Salsvault, a ruined alchemical laboratory located near Palebank Village. The laboratory, long abandoned, still held the knowledge and materials needed to produce a cure.
During the expedition to Salsvault, the party also discovered Ariameia, who was found within the ruins. The cure was successfully recovered and brought back to Palebank Village, saving Dristuul and the infected villagers.
Later Use
Theros kept a vial of the Frigid Woe cure after the events at Palebank Village. During Session 26, he traded the vial for passage — demonstrating that even a niche alchemical remedy can serve as valuable currency in the right circumstances.
