A harrowing journey across the desert brought the party face-to-face with enormous sandworms.

Summary

The party journeyed across a vast desert riding a majestic elephant named Eli
Eli had tarps strapped to his legs for protection against the scorching sand
After a full day of travel, they rested among rocks for the night
The next day, Eli became frightened and bolted. Jaruul grabbed a rope tied to Eli’s leg and struggled to climb back up.
The panicked elephant ran into an area full of holes in the sand
The party was thrown from Eli’s back as a massive sandworm emerged from the ground
A fierce battle erupted against both the sandworm and its even larger matriarch
The party killed both worms
Eli survived the ordeal, and the party continued their desert crossing
