Korin received a telepathic message from Brennan asking them to find Elmin Borvis (this type of communication was being blocked by something)
Brennan revealed that saying “Gul melin nethad” triggers a reaction in an object used to open portals to Vokarth Academy, where Ariameia once studied
The party obtained information about the Grimoire (the book Krie’s group had been using) through Theros’s Detect Magic
The heroes followed Dristuul’s flawless navigation to Elmin’s house — miraculously, no one got lost
Korin disappeared the moment he entered Elmin’s house after getting no response at the door
Everyone entered to find Elmin dead, with cuts across his chest, and the house completely ransacked
Ariameia said the magic phrase perfectly, and several objects in the room began to glow and float toward the center
