The Scalded Market sits in an open plaza at the heart of Drar’s commercial life. The air smells of exotic spices and smoke from grills and braziers; the noise is constant. The crowd is dense enough that someone could brush against a stranger and disappear before being noticed.
The plaza connects directly to The Dust Bowl, the underground tavern that opens off one of its edges.
